Dr. Cheryl L. Kirkpatrick

Cheryl is a district-level public school administrator. She is currently the Director of Personnel and Professional Learning for the Chelmsford Public Schools in Chelmsford, MA. Prior to this she served as the Coordinator of Leadership Development in the Lowell Public Schools and Senior Advisor for Human Capital in the Boston Public Schools. She also served as a research fellow and analyst with Harvard’s Strategic Data Project. In these roles she provides professional learning experiences and coaching for teacher leaders, principals, and other administrators. A former middle school teacher, Cheryl received her BA from Dartmouth College, and Master’s degrees from Brown University and Salem State University. Her research at Harvard Graduate School of Education - where she earned a doctorate in Administration, Planning and Social Policy - focused on work engagement among teachers and contexts that support an engaged workforce.
