William H Marinell

Will Marinell is a high school English teacher at Newton North High School in Newton, MA. In addition to his experience as a teacher, he has held senior positions in applied education research at Harvard University (Director of Analytics, Center for Education Policy Research) and NYU (Senior Research Scientist, The Research Alliance for New York City Schools). Will's research with NGT focused on policies and programs related to recruiting, preparing, and supporting teachers. More specifically, his doctoral research examined the career paths of mid-career entrants to teaching. Will holds a B. A. in English from Amherst College and Ed. M. and Ed. D. degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
